The Department of Agriculture (DA) recognizes the importance of accessibility to information on sanitary and phytosanitary measures (SPS) issued to ensure protection to human, animal and plant life and health. This electronic database codifies all Philippine laws and administrative issuances pertaining to SPS and related issuances applicable to DA. It has been made possible with the concerted efforts of the DA SPS Focal and Information Technology (IT) Groups with the assistance of the European Union - Trade Related Technical Assistance Project 2 and the Republic of the Philippines.
